This collection draws inspiration from the machinery, infrastructure and mechanical systems that surround us - from heavy engines and hydraulic systems to cables, steel structures, tools and industrial workwear.
We looked at the beauty in things built purely for function. The worn surfaces, exposed mechanisms, improvised repairs and modifications that appear through years of use.
MODIFIED MECHANICS takes these elements out of their original context and turns them into clothing. Shapes, details, materials and hardware are reworked, distorted and combined to create garments that feel functional, mechanical and slightly out of control.
